Maintenance
CLEANINGS
Cleanings are recommended 2 times a year with X Rays and exams. During a dental cleaning, a dentist or dental hygienist will remove bacteria, plaque and tartar buildup from your teeth surfaces. They may also perform other preventive services during the same visit, such as dental sealants and fluoride treatments.
XRAYS
X-rays are used to diagnose diseases affecting the teeth and the bones since the inside of these structures is not seen when dentists look in your mouth. They provide important information to help plan the appropriate dental treatment.
PERIODONTAL CLEANING AND ROOT PLANNING
Periodontal maintenance is a cleaning procedure performed to help maintain gum and bone health. Under the gumline deep cleanings are recommended to remove advanced hard buildups. This important dental treatment allows your teeth to be thoroughly cleaned and control progression of periodontal disease.
ORAL CANCER SCREENING
Oral cancer screening is a routine examination performed by dental professionals to detect early signs of oral cancer or precancerous conditions in the mouth. The goal of oral cancer screening is to identify any abnormalities or suspicious lesions that may require further evaluation or treatment.
Cosmetic
WHITENING
Dental teeth whitening is a cosmetic procedure performed to lighten the color of the teeth and enhance the smile's appearance. Unlike over-the-counter whitening products, dental whitening treatments utilize higher-concentration bleaching agents and specialized equipment to achieve more effective and long-lasting results. Protective measures, such as covering the gums and soft tissues, are taken to minimize potential irritation or damage. The whitening agent is then applied to the teeth, and a blue light is then placed on top. Dental teeth whitening is a safe and efficient way to achieve a brighter, more youthful smile under the supervision of trained dental professionals, providing patients with renewed confidence in their appearance.
INVISALIGN TRAYS
Invisalign trays are clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten teeth without the use of traditional metal braces. Once a treatment plan is finalized, a series of clear aligners are custom-made for the patient. These aligners are worn for about 20-22 hours a day, with each set being replaced approximately every 1-2 weeks to gradually shift the teeth into their desired positions. One of the key advantages of Invisalign is its discreet appearance, as the clear aligners are virtually invisible when worn. Additionally, since the aligners are removable, patients can easily take them out for eating, brushing, and flossing, allowing for greater convenience and maintaining oral hygiene.
VENEERS
Dental veneers are thin, custom-made shells crafted from tooth-colored materials such as porcelain or composite resin. These shells are designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve their appearance, addressing issues like discoloration, chips, cracks, or irregularities in shape or size.
BONDING
Dental cosmetic bonding is a procedure used to enhance the appearance of teeth by applying a tooth-colored composite resin material to the tooth's surface. It is commonly used to repair chipped or cracked teeth, close small gaps between teeth, reshape misaligned teeth, or improve the appearance of discolored teeth.t.
Reconstructive
CROWNS
Dental crowns or caps are used to cover or encase a damaged or weakened tooth. These crowns are custom-made to match the shape, size, and color of the patient's natural teeth, restoring both functionality and aesthetics to the smile. Dental crowns are typically recommended in cases where a tooth is severely decayed, cracked, fractured, or weakened due to root canal therapy. Additionally, they are used to support dental bridges, cover dental implants, or cosmetically enhance the appearance of misshapen or discolored teeth.
FILLINGS
Dental resins are versatile materials used in various dental procedures, including dental fillings, dental bonding, and cosmetic enhancements. These resins are made of a mixture of plastic and glass or ceramic particles, providing strength, durability, and aesthetic appeal. They are used to fill cavities and repair chips, cracks, or gaps in teeth, as well as to reshape or rebuild worn teeth.
IMPLANTS
Dental implants are an effective long-term solution for replacing missing teeth. They are artificial tooth roots made of biocompatible materials such as titanium that are surgically implanted into the jawbone beneath the gum line. Dental implants provide a strong and stable foundation for replacement teeth, including crowns, bridges, or dentures, to be attached.
ROOT CANALS
A root canal is a common endodontic procedure used to treat and save a tooth that has become infected or severely decayed. The procedure involves removing the infected or damaged pulp tissue from inside the tooth, cleaning and disinfecting the root canals, and then filling and sealing the space to prevent further infection.
